I worked all day and came home to make a quick tea for the troops before we had to head off to son#1 's football training. I found myself with 45 minutes spare !
So... I put on my gear, ran a mile, came home, ate a baked potato and drove to training. I am pleased to report that I am loving running. I look forward to my runs and am finding it an essential stress buster. Those times when I am out in the cold... be it early morning, evening or midday... are wonderful.
My head is far more organised and I feel happier in general. Its just great to have some time for me - and I am not feeling the pressure of having to get miles in. If I want to run 1 mile I do. I don't feel that I have to do 5. Yes, this is a good thing.
