I have been following my training plan religiously. I cannot believe that I haven't posted for so long , but life has been busy, busy, busy here! The one thing that I have always found time for has been my running. I didn't get to swim, but hopefully I will this week coming.
I had a chat with a girl I know who runs a running club and has been a good runner herself. She was very helpful. She has suggested that I follow the Runners World Run/Walk Plan which I immediately thought would be a cop out. But the more I consider it, and having read through it again, I think it would be a good idea. After all, I want to enjoy the Marathon and if this is the way to do that and get a reasonable time ( reasonable for me, which means under 6 hours ) then I might go that way.
My husband, on the other hand, says no, see how you're doing at Christmas. What do you think ?
In the mean time I have been out to buy some new shoes. I got Asics as they are always really comfy for me and the lady in the shop gave me 10% off. I also bought some 1000 mile socks. I am feeling stronger and stronger and today ( a rest day ) I have kept thinking that I can't wait to go out again tomorrow ! Let's hope the enthusiasm lasts through the cold winter months !!

I did a marathon last year. 'Course I was in my car at the time.
Good for you! Go do it! WOOHOO!
Ha ha !!! I may well still do it in my car, you know !! S
I'd agree with your husband, youve still got plenty of time for training, you can run it! Leave the run/walk as a last resort, I'm sure the sense of accomplishment will be greater by running.
