I went out and ran 3.3 miles today. It was hard and I felt heavy and slow. This was probably not helped by the chips and curry sauce I ate last night !! Still, I went out which is what counts. I have been really pleased with my runs this week so having a bad one is to be expected. Actually, when I got home and looked at my Nike+Ipod thingy I had done better than I at first thought. So I must be getting fitter, eh ?
Tomorrow I have to run 7 miles which is longer than I've run for 2 and a half years. I did the Wycombe Half Marathon in July 2005 and then promptly stopped running to rest on my laurels. I hope I'll be ok having run today. Ah well, I'll just take it easy and see how I go.
So far this week I have run 10.9 miles and with tomorrow my total will push up to nearly 18 miles. I'm dead chuffed !!
