A good 5 miles...

Wow !! What is it about trailing round at work feeling tired, but I get home, put on my running gear and all of a sudden I'm full of energy? Today felt great. Acouple of hills that a while ago were agony and now I was pretty much much up 'em before I noticed them. Well, not quite, but they felt good !!

I set off steady, but as the run went along I felt like stretching out and going faster, so I did. Excellent, especially the last mile. My breathing was very calm and steady and apart from a little stiffness in my calf my legs were strong. I shall do some extra stretches tonight.

All in all a good session. I am going to look at Marathon Training days now with the thought of going along - sounds interesting !!
