I went for a fab run yesterday. It was the annual mince pie and mulled wine run - a combination of 3k, 5k and 10k runs... you can choose whichever you like. I chose the 3k as I am so fit and have the body mass of a medium sized blue whale to lug about!! Towards the end my right knee started to feel a bit odd, but I really enjoyed the run. I couldn't run the whole thing, but did my best
The countryside was glorious and what really made it special was running it with my Man and 2 boys. They did actually steam ahead and come in hours before me, but it was lovely to know they were there.
I was given a fluorescent yellow running jacket for Christmas so I am hoping to do some early morning running. What do you reckon ? At the moment I seem to be averaging 1 run a month.... pathetic !! I have to get fit again...

Those are beautiful pictures. I grew up in the Midwest and those pics really make me think back to that time. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the running!
