Having spent last night with my neighbours I had arranged to run with them...well with my friend C.When I phoned at 10 ( because I was too lazy to tap on their front door!) she was still in bed, but we arranged to meet at 10.30am and run.We duly did so and ran just under a mile.
My Achilles are sore, but I keep stretching them, and I enjoyed the run. But it does reenforce the fact that I need to lose weight and get fitter. I have put on 14 pounds since the Marathon last year and I feel heavy. I am working on it, but I don't believe in starving and crash diets.It will take time, but I just need to be sensible and eat healthily, keep exercising as I am and enjoy myself.
Anyway... run #1 down for this week!!
