Back to running...phew!
I woke up this morning and decided that today was the day to go running. So at 8.15 am I was up and dressed, had a glass of water and headed out. My plan was to walk for a while to warm up my achilles and then run. I did exactly that!
The day was overcast and quite cool and I stretched well before I started to run. I felt surprisingly good, which was nice and ran slowly in a loop. I only did about 0.76 miles, but I decided that I would rather start slow and leave myself wanting more, than do too much and regret it. I was pleased at how easy it felt and by how much I actually enjoyed myself!
I stretched well when I finished and now feel rather smug and definitely pleased that it went so well. I am planning to play football later on - again with lots of warm up and stretching.

College, running...you have found your center!
So pleased to hear you are back out running again. It is so frustrating all these injuries!
